Victory Faith Church is a place where people can encounter Jesus, find genuine community, grow in their faith, and become part of something bigger than themselves.
We believe church is more than a service you attend on Sunday.
It’s a community you belong to, a faith you live out, and a movement you become part of.
You’ll find a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, authentic worship, practical biblical teaching, and real people growing together.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you come. Whether you’re exploring faith, coming back to church, looking for a place to belong, or have followed Jesus for years, there’s a place for you at Victory Faith.
Why We Exist
Victory Faith Church exists to see people move from attendance to transformation as fully devoted followers of Jesus.
We believe Jesus didn’t call us simply to attend church. He called us to follow Him, grow together, live differently, and help others do the same.
That happens as we:
INVITE people into the love of Jesus.
INVEST in people through authentic community and biblical truth.
DISCIPLE people through the Word and the Holy Spirit.
MULTIPLY by living on mission and helping others follow Jesus.

This is how we move from attendance to transformation.

Where We Come From
Victory Faith Church began with people gathering together around the Word of God and a desire to follow Jesus.
After Bible study groups organized by Dan Davis began meeting, that small community was formally led by Pastor Roger Welty and became Victory Faith Church on Christmas Eve of 1989.
Pastors Roger and Laurel Welty served Fort Madison until 2011 with a passion for worship, pastoral care, and caring for those in need.
Pastors Dan and Michele Stewart, who had previously served 15 years as associate pastors, then led Victory Faith with the heart of teachers and shepherds.
From November 2020 through September 2024, Pastors Kyle and Anna Sadler continued that legacy with a heart to reach the unchurched and spiritually displaced.
Each season has looked different, but God has continued to build upon what came before.
We honor where we’ve been while continuing to follow where Jesus is leading us.
Where We're Headed
Today, Pastors Scott and Beth Cecil are leading Victory Faith into a new season centered on a simple vision:
Not Just Church—A Movement.
We believe God is calling us beyond simply gathering people for a weekly service.
We want to see people transformed by Jesus, devoted to His Word, empowered by the Holy Spirit, connected in authentic community, and living on mission.
We want to be a church that doesn’t measure success simply by how many people attend, but by what happens in people when they encounter Jesus.
Are people growing?
Are relationships being built?
Are people discovering the Word?
Are they listening to the Holy Spirit?
Are they serving?
Are they helping someone else follow Jesus?
Because our goal isn't simply attendance.
Our goal is transformation.
Invite
It starts with an invitation.
We want to intentionally invite people into the love of Jesus.
Sometimes that happens through an invitation to church. Sometimes it happens over coffee, across a dinner table, at work, in a neighborhood, or through simply being present when someone needs you.
Jesus met people where they were, and we want to do the same.
We invite because everyone should have the opportunity to experience the love of Jesus.
Invest
We don't just invite people in. We invest in them.
People need more than a seat in a church service. They need relationships.
We want Victory Faith to be a community where people are known, encouraged, challenged, prayed for, and supported.
Acts 2:42 shows us a church devoted to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, sharing meals, and prayer.
That's the kind of community we want to build.
We don't just attend together. We do life together.
Disciple
Jesus called us to follow Him.
Discipleship is more than gaining biblical knowledge. It's allowing Jesus to transform the way we think, live, love, serve, and respond to the world around us.
We want to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus through God's Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe discipleship happens as we learn the Word, practice what Jesus taught, listen to the Holy Spirit, walk with other believers, and allow God to continually transform us.
We aren't simply learning about Jesus. We're learning to live like Jesus.
Multiply
What God does in us was never meant to stop with us.
As Jesus transforms our lives, we begin helping others experience that same transformation.
We serve.
We share our story.
We use our gifts.
We love our community.
We invite others.
We invest in people.
We disciple others.
And eventually, those people begin doing the same.
Disciples make disciples.
That's multiplication.
And that's how a church becomes a movement.

A life built around His Word.
A life led by the Holy Spirit.
A life lived in community.
A life poured out for others.
