Welcome To Victory Faith Church
Victory Faith Church is a community whose purpose and the goal is to love God and people. We’re not experts. We’re far from perfect. Nobody looks the same, and yet everybody belongs. You’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere each weekend at Victory Faith Church. Through the use of practical teaching and dynamic worship, we strive to present the message of Jesus in a clear and relevant way.
Why We Exist
Victory Faith Church exists to reach the unchurched and the de-churched to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference as fully devoted followers of Jesus.
You’re welcome here if you’re spiritually restless, discontent, new at discovering who God is, or a veteran of the faith. If you’re visiting for the first time: we won’t embarrass you, call you out, or ask you to give us money. We have an incredible team of people to help guide you and connect with you, but we realize that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous,” and that’s fine with us! So come in and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re spiritually restless, discontent, new at discovering who God is, or a veteran of the faith, you’re welcome here.
Where We Come From
After Bible study meeting groups organized by Dan Davis, on Christmas Eve of 1989, were led formally by Pastor Roger Welty, the small group of people that had been meeting during that winter season, Victory Faith Church was formed. Pastor Roger and Laurel impacted Fort Madison with their pastoral leadership and passion for worship and caring for the less fortunate until 2011. From that point, Pastor Dan and Michele Stewart, who had previously served 15 years as associate pastors, led Victory Faith Church with the heart of a teacher and pastor. Pastors Kyle and Anna Sadler accepted the call to lead Victory Faith from November 2020 through September 2024. They had a vision to help reach the unchurched and spiritually displaced.
Where We're Headed
In 2025 The Victory Faith leadership team of Pastors Scott & Beth Cecil are continuing to grow and to help empower people in their spiritual journey to begin everything with Jesus; to embrace unconditional love, discover purpose and make a difference as fully devoted followers of Jesus. They have a vision of reaching the desperate with a mission of Loving First and Loving Well and fulfilling John 1:14 (MSG)
Know God
God wants to know us personally. More than just practicing religion, He wants a relationship with us. Our weekend services are where we focus on that relationship. Whether you're new to faith, have questions, or have been a Christ follower for a long time, our services are a safe place to know what it means to know God and grow closer to Him.
Find Freedom
One of the ways God designed for us to live in freedom is to have people in our lives to help us on the journey. Connecting with others in a Victory Faith Church Small Group is a practical and enjoyable way to find that life-changing community.
Discover Purpose
We're all essential to God's plan, and our life will never make sense until we discover our purpose. The Victory Faith Growth Track is your first step in the critical process of finding your purpose.
Make A Difference
Making a difference in the lives of others is the ultimate plan for our life. When we do, the Bible tells us that we will experience joy. Through the Victory Faith Dream Team, we hope to connect every person to an opportunity to live out their calling by using their gifts and talents to serve others in the Church and the community.
What This Means For You
What does this mean for you? Wherever you're in your faith journey, we accept you as part of the Victory Faith family. Most importantly, you're always welcome at Victory Faith Church. We're saving a seat for you.
"Jesus Christ is at the center of everything. We believe that Jesus is the only one who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised."
